Vision

I envision a world where young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the leaders of today, driving progress and advocacy for progressive, inclusive policies. By fostering collaboration between youth and leading advocacy organizations, I am dedicated to cultivating the next generation of changemakers who are equipped and motivated to advocate for policies that promote justice, sustainability, and equality.

Elevating youth leadership for a more equitable world.

About

Through my consulting services, I work with organizations to create comprehensive youth outreach plans from the ground up. I provide tailored strategies to help organizations connect with and inspire young leaders, building programs that foster leadership, advocacy, and social change. Together, we design fellowships that integrate youth into key advocacy efforts, policy development, and grassroots movements, ensuring that their voices are heard in the areas that matter most to them.

By partnering with me, organizations can establish programs that empower the next generation of advocates, giving them the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to lead and drive change. My goal is to support your organization in creating meaningful, sustainable connections with young leaders and building a future shaped by their vision and values.

I have developed my career around running equitable youth-led fellowships and have partnered with OHSU, The Oregon State Legislature, and climate justice Organizations. I have led fellowships that have been instrumental in passing progressive policies in the state and providing leadership roles to youth.

About Me

Charlie Krouse

(they/them)
Founder

Hi! I’m Charlie! I use they/them pronouns and I currently live in PDX.

I started out in advocacy spaces when I was fifteen years old. I grew up in rural Washington and worked to run and host fundraisers for reproductive justice advocacy. I spoke at the Seattle Planned Parenthood rally at 16. I went on on to volunteer for reproductive justice work and trained thousands of people on how to share their stories. As a young person, there weren’t many opportunities to turn my passion for organizing into a livable wage and I spent most of my early twenties struggling to work full-time jobs, attend school and invest in my advocacy work. There are so many young people today who, given the funding and opportunity, can change our current system. My goal is to build spaces for that to happen.

Throughout my career in advocacy I have dedicated my time to developing comprehensive youth leadership opportunities. I have trained youth on how to organize large-scale lobby days and i have led 16 successful youth policy fellowships. I am constantly pushing for the inclusion of equitable youth leadership roles in all of my work.

I believe in the importance of not only passing the mic to the next generation but also setting them up for success and ensuring we’re not repeating the status quo. Youth should have the power to make decisions for their future and the ability to learn how to advocate for real change.

When I’m not working, I love hiking with my three dogs and my wife around Portland, OR. I’m also known for crushing it at karaoke, and my current go-to song is "Good Luck Babe" by Chappell Roan.
